So i don't know but lots of locks saying they suck in they i mean inferni & doomi
but Goddamn i love them :)
the infernal is my last solution key for sticky situation he has like 14k hp and hits for around 1000 a hit (im aff so its cool)
and the doom guard is just dangerous for me more then any one else you cant keep it leashed , under the best Enslave he brackes after 1-2min
but its funny to put it one a mob you fear into an ally camp or city :):):):)
or horde.....nhaaa lol
Well both received a lot of buffs in WotLK.
For example:
Infernal
can now me summoned indoors
the CD reduced from 1h to 15m
Damage output was massively increased
Now despawns after 1m instead of attacking
HP was massively increased. About doubled I think

Well I for one feel the infernal was nerfed over the patches. The days of throwing down an infernal at the opening of an AV while everyone was mounting, watching the $%^&ed off people have to run a few yards to leave combat are over. Or the days when you could throw down an infernal in a lowbie village, banish, and run away to come back and find the infernal wreaking havoc have long since faded into the distance. Blizz has sucked alot of fun out of the lock over the patches, making it harder and harder to get our demonic kicks.
As for the RoD not sacrificing anyone anymore, its kinda a good thing and bad thing. More doomguard=more fun. But a 1/4 chance of sacrificing your self in a group of four curious lowbies and seeing the terror and chaos ensue when a ? demon starts raping them is priceless. Boo blizzard, boo!

hmm, more utility, less griefing... you all think this is a bad thing?
*sigh*

Sometimes people forget that World of Warcraft is a game, and games tend to be fun. I like to be entertained by games, and sacrificing an innocent to summon forth a demon from the twisting nether is my idea of fun. This is why I play the warlock and not another class. If I wanted utility I would go level my stagnant druid (not saying druids cant be fun, but just not in demonic fun, the best kind of fun).

i know what you're saying but those spells/demons hardly got used. russian roullette while waiting for a raid was a giggle once or twice but it's not exactly hilarious and unleashing an infernal on goldshire was fun for us but not so much for the lvl 4 mage on a free trial to see if he likes the game or not.
a change has been made to give them some actual use and QQ ensues. i've got to wonder, how much griefing were you doing for this change to have ruined the game for you?

I never said it ruined the game for me, it's just i'm sad to see some of the things that made warlocks unique and fun are being normalized. Killing people in your own faction is something only a lock could do, now we no longer have that ability.
And screw some lowbie in goldshire on a trial account, I pay my money every month, and have spent time and effort earning the right to screw with lowbies or noobs. If I was killed by a rampaging infernal when I first bought the game, it would have made me want to play more to find out wtf just happened, and to one day aquire such power.
