Insane raid dps?
Return to board index
I was putting alot of thought into this the other day, lets just take for example, your putting a group together for 10man naxxramas.
Lets break the group down like this, the dps will consist of the following:
*Assuming these characters all know their class, rotation ( if they have a rotation) and have decent enough gear for this example raid*.
The reason for these certain spec/ class combinations is just well.. mainly for their talents, The feral druid can supply Leader of the pack. +5% crit. The hunter with Trueshot aura, +10% attk pwr at all times. the warrior with the Rampage talent ( +5% hit & crit ). The retadins talent Sanctified Retribution ( +3% total dmg when affected by pallys aura).
I just chose a combat rogue, for the reason that they would really benefit from these buffs and deliver a high dps output, maybe could Tricks someone else and up their dps? im not sure, just a thought. ( I chose combat, because the retadins buff will just cancel out with a muti rogue's Hunger for Blood.)
I just wanted to know, i could be wrong, some of these talents might not stack with one another, such as the Leader of the pack & Rampage talents, i've never grouped with both thos class/spec combinations before, i was just curious if this seemed like a high dps group
I could go even further and add a Deathknight tank in there for the Improved Icy Talons talent ( +20% haste )
This is just something i was thinking about today, i just wanted to ask the forums to see if this was a good/ bad idea for a raid combination. Please reply, i'd like to know what other wowhead'ers think of my post, Thanks for reading.
*sorry about the spelling and or grammar, if any.
Buffs that give the exact same benefit don't stack. For example, Rampage and Leader of the Pack don't stack.
Also Rampage doesn't give hit, just crit.
Also none of those buffs are group specific so you don't have to worry about having all 5 dpsers in one group, it's common in naxx10 (most 10-mans, actually) to have 6 DPS anyways.
MMO-Champion has a tool that helps you get every possible raid buff in your comp:
Swap your hunter for enhancement shaman. You'll get 10% ap, 20% melee haste and Strength/Agility bonus, all in a neat package that brings tons of fun for the guy behind the wheel.
<3 Enhancement :D
A Combat Rogue will also bring
as a raid-wide buff.
Note that it won't stack with a Warrior's
