Scribes can create
Darkmoon Card of the North
requiring the following reagents:
Resilient Parchment
Snowfall Ink
(6) (requires 2
Icy Pigment
, rarely milled from Northrend herbs)
Eternal Life
(3)
Ink of the Sea
(3) (requires 2
Azure Pigment
, milled from Northrend herbs)
I've been seeing 8-10 Azure Pigment and 2-3 Icy Pigment per stack. No hard numbers here, and very small sample size thus far. I haven't made any yet, so I'm not certain if there is an associated cooldown, but it would seem there is not. I'd definitely refer you to this
comments thread
for discussion of how long it may take to obtain the entire deck.
Good luck!

It looks like acquiring the whole nobles deck is going to be a very long, and very expensive process
Agreed!
Pigments are obtained through
milling
, exactly how gems are obtained through
prospecting
.

Thats 8-10 Azure pigments and 2-3 Icy pigments
per stack of milled herbs
. Any scribe can mill herbs, but it's a bit of a crapshoot as to how many you'll get. Your scribe can then turn the pigment into ink, no reagents required. Were it me (and I'm all about brute force tactics) I'd get 32 stacks (there are 32 cards I believe) of Northrend herbs, and see how it goes.
