Int vs. SP - How to Choose?

When it comes to making equipment choices, especially while leveling, there seems to be a lot of stuff with Intellect OR Spell Power on it, but not both (especially early on, and especially early Tailoring).
How should I weight them? For example, an item has +10 SP on it - around how much Int on an item for the same slot (assuming, naturally, all other bonuses on it are the same) should there be for me to choose it?
Hmmm. Or maybe a bit more practical of an example from gear my *VERY* early Mage is looking at: Blue Overalls (+4 Stam, +5 SP) vs a Willow Robe of the Eagle (+4 Stam, +4 Int)? (a more general answer'd be preferred, though - specific advice'd go right out the window the instant I leveled or found something new :)

Frankly, I would stick with "of the eagle" items as opposed to +SP items until later on in leveling (50+).
Having Stam/Int will keep you leveling longer than +SP.

Even when leveling every little bit of spellpower helps(killing things faster) while a larger int pool will increase the amount of time you can kill but increase your drinking time, and increase the amount you need to drik. If you can grab sp gear(rings/trinkets/necks) while leveling <40-50 grab them. Once you hit 58 it doesn't matter since you hit outland and you get your pick anyway. :)
Also if you have the badges/shards invest the the
Sunderseer Mantle
or
Grand Staff of Jordan
