I'm not going to be able to help, but how many other people do the "meant to type in the AH search box" dance while browsing the AH?
I like to think I get bonus points when I drop totems and then go ghost wolf when searching for something...

Feel free to change the underlined part (with stuff like "ALT", "CTRL-BUTTON3", etc. Whatever suits you).
It's currently set to do the search when you do a shift + right click :p

Yeah, wowpedia's API listing is the first place I looked, too :p
Since it wasn't there, I figured such a function doesn't exist, so I started snooping around.
I did try some other, not-so-subtle workarounds before I checked InterfaceOptionsPanels.lua to see how the autoloot key changing thingy does it. That's where I found it.
The API listing at wowpedia seems to be quite lacking (and this actually isn't even the first time I've run into a similar problem).
