As far as I've seen, Holy/Disc is the most widely accepted arena build. Specializing in survivability, Holy/Disc Priests possess Blessed Recovery/Resilience, Spell Warding, Unbreakable Will and Focused Power for immediate Mass Dispels.

With that said, there is no one and only way to PvP as a Priest. All trees are viable despite what others might say, and you simply have to find a build that compliments your playstyle.

Your build above looks solid. I, personally, would make a few changes though. From my PvP experience, Imp. Mana Burn and Focused Power are crucial. All to often in Arenas, Mana Burn becomes the bread and butter damaging spell for the Priest, and effectively used Mass Dispells can turn the tide of the battle. Additionally, if your focus is PvP, I don't generally find Holy Nova extremely useful unless you're looking to quickly deplete your mana pool with a sparkley bang! However, Holy Nova teamed with Surge of Light can be quite effective (but that's another story =).

This is a nice PvP Burst-Damage Spec.

And this, if you dont like 3 min boom-machine.
So if you kill an enemy, you get a nice spelldmg boost from spirittap for 15 Seconds

Get what you want, this is my opinion for an alternative PvP-Spec.

And it is btw. good for leveling, alternative to a shadowspec.

Is DeepShadow my only option for PvP?
