Is it possible to do the rep grind for http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32857 if you do not have a mount at all? I was wanting to get this on an alt of mine.

You need 5000g flying, and a mount to get to the Netherwing Ledge.

You have to get the Epic (300) Flying mount training before you can even start gaining rep with Netherwing beyond neutral.

i see now on the faction page for Netherwing, http://www.wowhead.com/?faction=1015, that you need a flying mount for this grind. Darn, I just wanted a drake instead of the gryphons or hippogryph ...oh well.

Well, you don't need any epic flying mount (Except, most likely, for the races) to reach Netherwing Ledge, just the 5000g training and a 60% speed flying mount.

Just get the 5000g training and have a Warlock summon you to the Ledge.

Then again, after spending 5k it's pretty pointless not to use another 200g to get a proper mount.
