Is the hit cap now 8%?
I am inferring this question based on this...
"Whatever combination of the above you use must total at least
9%
8%*
in order to never miss against a boss. This is pretty easy to do. It is in your best interest to cap hit as soon as possible; it is point-for-point the best way to increase your DPS until you have reached the cap. And don't go over the cap either, that's just a waste."

Plus I noticed no change in my dps with a 6% hit rating and only 2/3 focused aim.
So I'm curious... Is it true?

I'm going to have to start saving my recount data, I'm running well over what should be my hit cap (240hit rating, with 3/3 of focused aim) and I'm still showing a 1.4-1.6% miss chance ... This was a full clear of naxx and wintergrasp 10mans ... Any thoughts ? Maybe I'm in front of the mob and it's dodging / blocking and recount is counting that as a miss ? ..

If you kept your Vault data with your Naxx data you are going to show misses .The debuff that Archevon spits out seems to cause a lot of misses.
I have to say I run 3 points under cap (assuming 8%) with no FA and I see 1 miss over a run though.
