Is Primal Strike worth it?

Hey all!
I haven't played my Enh shammy in ages, but I noticed the new ability Primal Strike. I also noticed that it shares a cd with Stormstrike, and that if I alternate the 2, the Stormstrike buff/debuff/whatever won't be on 100% of the time. So... for Enh Shammies, is it really worth it to use Primal Strike? Thanks!

No no no, not at all.
As soon as you have gotten Stormstrike, don't even bother using Primal Strike again.
If your Stormstrike debuff isn't on your taget all the time, then your doing it wrong.

Primal Strike is designed to be used up until you have Storm Strike and can dual-wield. You use one OR the other, and Storm Strike is the superior of the two once you have it.

or, for kicks, get a nice feral druid staff, and use primal strike in groups, and tell them that it does more dps than stormstrike

What would that do?
I've actually been considering putting Primal Strike on the DPS bar I use while in Resto Spec. Dunno if it'd do any good though... but if I'm already beating on something and/or casting at it?

Primal Strike uses a GCD, and adds to weapon dmg. 85 slow caster weapons had their weapon dmg nerfed hardcore to stop enhancement shamans from using them, but that also means your primal strike is pretty gimp. You're better off shocking (flameshock is the most total dmg if it can tick) if you can't spend the time for a LB.

I'm leveling an elem shammy right now and I use it when a mob gets close to me with very little life left. It's better than waiting for LB to cast. Other than in this situation, it seems pretty useless.
