crit is better than spirit
30% of spirit becomes spellpower but only if you use fel armour. in PvP there are occasions when demon armour is actually better so not only does spirit not scale well enough to be that useful but it will only be useful at all in certain situations.
don't avoid it but in cases like this take the useful stat over spirit. you won't run in to this problem much with pvp gear even specs that traditionally use a lot of spirit don't get much on pvp gear.

seems on topic to me, don't worry about that.
i'd say haste is much better than spirit in this case. as a pvper i'm running AV for the cloak with hit on it. as much as i dislike pvp it's a nice PvE item >.<

there's other 'ascendancy' stuff with hit on but the cloak is the only thing that improves on my PvE gear at the moment.
