Depends on what class and spec you are. Ele shamans, prot pallies and mages have a different pvp leveling spec. Not sure about any other classes.

Enha Shamans can both lvl up and pvp, so can retri palas and shadow pris. In PvP servers, actually, you can not lvl up as a pure healer or a pure tank (for there's no one to heal / taunt / protect you etc.)

Just because it's a PvP server doesn't involve PvP 100% of them. Hell, not even 50% of the time.
Just get a PvE leveling build.

This also works; however, IIRC, they are nerfing the BG xp once again.
