Issue with XML and &upgd=X

When using xml feeds and the &upgd= paramater the only portion that gets the updated information is the htmltooltip, the json feeds are left with the un-upgraded data.
Ex:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=86386&xml
http://www.wowhead.com/item=86386&xml&upgd=2
