I thought about this too. It's a good idea, but for now I'm content with napkin math.

It'd be cool if we could specify the gear we currently have, then apply weight scales so that we can instantly see how other gear compares instantly.
So far I've faked this by creating a link to an Item Comparison page with all my gear and my weight scale. Then I've created another link to search for gear in each slot sorted by score of my weight scale.
I'm using the EP values from the elitistjerks post FYI...
Keep up the good work folks, it's MUCH appreciated!
