I agree with wowgeek on the +healing. The 2 shammies that heal in my guild have about 2k +healing and I think they still have 2 or 3 blues.
I would think an average +healing for all classes would be about 1200 since our leader of healing has a requirement of 1500+healing for being in the guild. It takes all the healers about 2 runs in Kara to get it, but they are the only ones trying to get gear.
For a fury warrior I would say 25% crit at the start and 30% at the end. This to keep flurry up the whole fight.
Maybe a little less +hit because of that since it will be hard to have both stats higher.

common theme ive noticed in this thread:everyone seems to think that the stats THEY GO WITH are the baseline... which in actuality they more than likely are not. there are just too many things that effect the outcome of raids in my opinion. I dont care how good your stats are if you just suck as a player and dont know how to play its not gonna do you any good. I mean you (you in general not directed at anyone specific) can sit here and say "well i have this much of this and this much of that" and it doesnt really matter. with that said, there has been a standard set for each class yes, and like the OP stated, they are just a blip on the map... something to shoot for. I agree that some of them may be a tad bit high but so be it... more to work at. In the end just know how to play your class, be a good team player and, assuming youre not the raid leader, know how to follow directions and all should be well. Just use common sense =)

All classes should have 7500 health unbuffed for the Shade of Aran fight. Bring an extra piece of stamina gear or two to get over that limit. Otherwise you are guaranteed a death if he gets his arcane explosion off.
again this is where skill and knowledge of the fight come in to play... I NEVER EVER get hit by arcane explosion... use a mod that tells you its coming and run away. Knowledge is power in EVERYTHING real life and in game. If youre prepared you win point blank.

youre talkin about flame wreath or however its spelled.... and again... knowledge of the fight... you just stand still and no one takes any damage. Without goin into specific boss fights the point is that if you read up and do the research and know what to expect you shouldnt have any problems.

there's a split second that you can cast spells while the Pyroblast is coming at you
Priest - PW shield
Paladin - Bubble
Mage - Mana Shield
warrior - last stand
rogue - CoS
etc...

ok...
Shade
does not do a pyro blast... The magnetic pull and ARCANE EXPLOSION are 100% avoidable... the ONLY thing in this fight the group cannot controll are where the elementals pop. You move up near him during Blizzard, stop moving during Flame Wreath, and run out to walls on Arcane Explosion... cake

youre talkin about flame wreath or however its spelled.... and again... knowledge of the fight... Thanks, but i do have good knowledge of the fight, and I'm talking about the AE pyroblast he does right after sheeping the whole raid, which happens if he is at 20% mana and still alive.
While Kara-farming raids or skilled players shouldn't see it too often, i would expect a raid that does that fight for the first time to meet that event, and they should be prepared for it.
(though with the amount of free PvP epics providing both stamina and better overall raid gear, it might become less frequent)

realize i made that sound like a personal jab... not my intention =) and a misunderstanding of what you were talking about on my part. point taken. and as you said... the raid shouldnt get that far anyways imo... but it does happen and that pyroblast is pretty rough

Hunters
Unbuffed:
AP: 1500+ with Trueshot Aura (early Kara), 1900+ (later Kara)
Hit: 5% (early Kara), 8%+ (later Kara)
Crit Chance: 15% (early Kara), 20% (later Kara)
NOTE: this is a MM hunter, BM hunters will have less AP in the same gear.
Actually, a BM hunter should be sporting at or around 1500 w/ hawk and 20% crit for kara level raiding. Also, It is better to have hunters specced BM since MM is so much more gear dependant and can not really come up to par with BM dps until BT/Hyjal.
