Your numbers are fine for entry level in Kara, but don't expect to be topping the damage meters. You definitely should be running some heroics to get badges and further upgrade your gear as well as to get some experience. Working on your Scryer and Cenarion rep will also help. Look into the spellstrike set.
As for getting into a (supposedly serious) raiding guild, who can say? That has a lot more to do with personality and a willingness to adapt to what the guild wants from you. Expect them to want you to respec at some point. I'd suggest talking with warlocks who are already in the guild you're considering applying to and seeing just what they will ask of you.
To get ready for Karazhan, I remember running shadow labs like a thousand times(ok not really a thousand) because it dropped 2 oblivion pieces and
The Greatsword of Horrid Dreams
It also dropped a really good blue wand from the second boss Blackheart the Inciter-
The Wand of the Netherwing
I used those well into late kara.
Also do as Dunsinane said and work on your scryer rep and get the
(hint: farm the firewing signets just east of Shattrah)
Your spec is allright for PVE improved imp isnt that great a talent but your spec will work
Hope this helps
yes your gear is fine to start Kara. I started with very similar gear and it was fine. Quite often getting into a raiding guild is more about how you answer the questions in the application form than your gear (although gear does show how much time you have invested into your char, and things like end game enchants even on blue gear speaks volumes to the player's dedication to be the best they can be at all times). Ability to be there at the raid times, being reliable and mature, willing to grind consumables, a good understanding of your class, a lack of arrogance and a willingness to learn from others are the main things that will get you a trial (in general). If/when you get a trial turning up on time with maximum buffs (Flask, wizard oil, well fed, with all gear enchanted and gemmed) and focussing on the job at hand from the first minute of the raid until the last will get you through.
As for your spec - with your current gear, if played right an Affliction build would most likely out-dmg destro on bosses by quite a long way so don't be surprised if someone from a raiding guild you apply to raises this point.
