Location: Stranglethorn Vale
Toralyn was suddenly cornered near the mouth of some cave. He turned and pulled out a thick staff that he had picked up, his only weapon.
"Help!" Toralyn shouted, hoping that someone else would hear him. The tiger growled as it crept forward, preparing to pounce.
"Light... help me.. please,"
Toralyn thought desperately as he went into a stance.

"Well that's encouraging." Rena murmured to Skyfall who made a low sound as they flew above a corrupted section of the forest, Satyrs visible through the branches, the large elf-demons crafting some spell around a rune. "Well girl, let's get this over with shall we?" She asked, sending the white gryphon down into a dive, the stormhammer already spinning her hand as she took aim and prepared to let it loose.

Renai slipped into a chair in the inn, kicking her feet up on the table and ordering a drink from one of the barmaids. She wondered for a moment how Eric and the twerp were doing, but shrugged the thought off in favor of having her ale.
Vanessa wandered around town, hiding occasionally from the rough looking pirates that were in the streets. She headed near the entrance into Booty Bay, hoping that maybe Renai was waiting there.
Eric banged his head against one side of the cell the goblins had put him in until they made room for his interrogation.

"Back!" Toralyn shouted as he jabbed the wooden staff at the tiger, "back already!" he yelled again. The beast roared in anger as it swiped at the staff, nearly disarming the young human.
"Oh I'm not going to last long,"
Toralyn thought as he gulped, able to feel his heart rate increasing and breathing faster now.

Vanessa waltzed out of the tunnel, the bloody dagger she had tried to help Eric with was in her hand. Hopefully she wouldn't have to use it. The goblins gave her odd glances, and greedy looks at her fancy silk as she exited the shark-designed entrance of the town.

Rena let the hammer go and smiled as it slammed into the head of a Satyr, crushing it in a blow. She leaped off the back of Skyfall and landed near the body, picking up her weapon and swinging it in a wide arc, catching another satyr in the back of his knee and shattering the demon's leg. She spun and whirled, dodging attacks as the creatures swarmed at her. "Come on you weak-kneed pansies! Let's see how you handle a real lady and not one of yer fragile little elf twigs!" She yelled, her eyes flashing and her face flushed with joy as she struck at them.

Toralyn decided to try a last-ditch effort. He hurled the staff straight at the tiger and distracted it long enough for him to dash by, narrowly avoiding a vicious paw swipe.
Toralyn flew down the dirt trail fast towards the south, hollering as he ran to hopefully get anyone's attention.

Vanessa looked from side to side. Her female knight escort was no where to be seen, but as she turned her head to look forward, she could see a running form in the distance, and a lot of screaming. She raised her eyebrows and waited until whatever it was got closer, and then realized it was some scraggly human boy, who looked like he was being chased by a ghost.

As Toralyn ran faster to the south, he could see the faint outline of some built-structures.
"Civilization! Guards! Help!" Toralyn shouted, praying to the Light that he'd make it in time and not realizing that a hidden energy was helping him from passing out in fatigue.

There was a long screech and Skyfall lived up to her name, slamming down onto a satyr and breaking it's back, then sawed at it's neck, killing it. Rena laughed, singing one of the battle hymns of the Sisterhood as she continued to fight through the crowd, the Satyr's claws merely scrapping dully against her steel-like skin. She whirled and caught one of the demon's in the face with her hammer, the beast going down hard.

Toralyn heard shouts before he saw some girl waving her arms. He saw a wave of goblins suddenly burst out of a cavern, realizing this was his final part of running or else get eaten. Toralyn pushed himself to run even faster, straining under the pain as he began to run straight at whoever was waving.
