is it true or are these people talking out thier arses?
It's true. I had the 300 (and 305, as a Draenei) jewelcrafting recipes learned long, long before I ever hit 50. Just got a mage friend to portal me to Shattrath, set my hearthstone there and suicide-ran to Honor Hold so I'd have the flight path.

a) you have to have the expansion installed to get to outland
b) you can be ported before lvl 58
c) you *should* be able to learn the 300 skill recipes from TBC
d) you can NOT get the max skill of 375 before level 50
