I was wondering, if at any point in the future we would be able to specify what version of Wow that we are actually commenting from, it seems that no matter what, it always marks the comment as from the newest version.
I was playing 3.3.5a, and found something that I wanted to leave a comment on, but I was unable to specify that what I found was from 3.3.5a. This information could be useful for people playing on older versions, or even those that are looking for information on how something has changed relevant to the new information.
It might only be something that I want, as I am always into the stuff in development that changes, its a odd interest. But it would be a useful feature to be able to specify what patch exactly the comment relates to, instead of it defaulting to the newest one.
Thanks, I doubt this will ever be taken into consideration, as its probably not something that anyone would be interested in having.

An afterthought, I know there is a version of the site with the "old." prefix, but it seems to be identical to the final site, even listing MOP content... Is this intended? Or is the old version supposed to cater to perhaps, a pre-cata version, such as 3.3.5a (Which is my preferred version).
Playing older versions of the game means playing pirate servers and that is something that is not supported by this site in any way.
Unfortunately older version of the game are not official support, and as Wowhead is an Officially recognized fan site we do stand behind blizzard's
