I've edited
Shammygotgun
's quotes in places to make reading easier, but the content is essentially the same.
- How much exp does handing in
Arena Master
give at lvl 1?
550xp.
- Is it possible to equip two
Arena Grand Master
?
Yes, but as turning in the first quest gets you 550xp you can't equip any as a level 1.
- At level 1, would getting +8 agil to helm or +12 dodge rating grant me more dodge %?
According to the tooltip on
Arena Grand Master
12 dodge rating is 26% at lvl 1, which would mean +12 dodge rating would be superior, but i'm not sure if that is correct.
The tooltip is not calculating dodge% correctly for a level 1.
The stats that affect dodge% and the amount they contribute is:
1 Agility = 0.8952% dodge
1 Dodge Rating = 0.1667% dodge
1 Defense Rating = 0.0533% dodge
(Note: Agility contribution shown is for a Rogue, other classes will be different.)
- Here is a list of the enchants i'm getting, please point out any that are inferior.
Enchant Cloak - Lesser Agility
Enchant Chest - Greater Stats
Enchant Boots - Greater Agility
Enchant Gloves - Superior Agility
Enchant Weapon - Agility
Enchant Bracer - Minor Agility
The best Classic "enchants" by slot for dodge% are:
Head
-
Lesser Arcanum of Voracity
@ 7.16% (better than
Arcanum of Protection
@ 2.00%)
Cloak
-
Enchant Cloak - Lesser Agility
@ 2.69%
Chest
-
Enchant Chest - Greater Stats
@ 3.58%
Bracers
-
Enchant Bracer - Minor Agility
@ 0.90% (better than
Enchant Bracer - Deflection
@ 0.27%)
Gloves
-
Enchant Gloves - Superior Agility
@ 13.43%
Weapon
-
Enchant Weapon - Agility
@ 13.43%
Legs
-
Nethercleft Leg Armor
@ 10.74%
Boots
-
Enchant Boots - Greater Agility
@ 6.27%
- I've heard that there is lvl 1 armour that have ilevels of 35+?
Is this true? It would only mean i could get 2 more agilty, but, every little bit helps i guess.
(Apparently
Formal Dangui
is one, along with
Haliscan Jacket
and some other pieces)
Formal Dangui
is iLvl 60, but it
appears
that it can't take WotLK enchants.
Haliscan Jacket
is iLvl 36 and can be enchanted with
Enchant Chest - Exceptional Stats
giving 5.37% dodge (better than
Enchant Chest - Defense
@ 0.85%).
Thanks for any help! =D

As you level the dodge% benefit of agility drops, at level 2 it's 0.8579% dodge per point of agility.
Most, if not all, of your level 1 twink gear is not soulbound. If you ding, just re-roll and mail the gear to the new twink.
If you're after a 100%+ dodge twink don't forget
Mark of the Wild
, on a level 1 twink that's another 33.12% dodge or 46.55% if the Druid has specced
Improved Mark of the Wild
.
However the weapon skill of your opponent will reduce your effective dodge%. For every level they are above you, assuming max weapon skill for their level, your dodge chance reduces by 0.2%.

Unless they changed it, he'd get rank 1 MotW because it downranks with level.
I'm sure you're right, but you can still do a lot to max your dodge% even with full enchants.
I remember hearing something recently about a hard dodge cap too, something like 75%, it'd be interesting to test that if you can get your dodge to those levels.

I wasn't sayin your dodge percents are off for enchants, just the buff that he/she'd be getting >.>
Yeah, I know.
I normally only consider self-buffs, but there have been a few threads lately that went beyond and looked at all available world buffs so I thought I'd throw that in.
Just goes to show that you should stick to what you know. :P
