Leveling fast, Please help

My RAF buddy got accepted to a school, so he can't play anymore, And I want to get to 55 fast.
I have a
level 11 Gnome Lock
level9 Druid
level 33 Paladin.
IYO, which will be the easiest to level to 55?
Also, what is a good place to quest, that is NOT STV! I hate STV style, plus the ganking here is terrible. I was thinking of leveling in Taureen Mill/Arthi Mountains. How are those?
Also how are the badlands?

Well, I would say go back to STV around 35+
Badlands, is well, bad. Nothing there except for spread out quests.
What spec is your paladin, by the way?
I would say go to Desolace if you are Alliance, or Thousand Needles (The South Part) if you are, well, any race.
Also, you might wanna roll a Normal server if you are new.

I am Ret, I will not go to Desolace.... I would reroll in a heart beat, but I put so much time into getting him to 33, I want to be 55 ASAP so I can be a DK

I really enjoyed Hillsbrad Foothills as Horde, never tried it as Alliance.
It's the natural third zone for Forsaken and Blood Elves, both popular Horde races, so Alliance folks might have a tough time on PvP realms.

Classes with pets are great for solo play because they're never really solo, they have a pet who can tank for them (or DPS/whatever depending on your playstyle).
