Levelling a new ranged weapon

Hello all,

I'm a 69 hunter but have only used bows to get here.With the NS4000 and the high output bows around I'd like to up my skill with these weapons too.

I remember reading about an NPC with high HP but a small aggro range so that you could stand back and auto shot your weapon skill up without having to do much at all. I just can't remember where I read it or who the NPC was.

Can anyone help me?
