Life in Shattrath (Open RP)
Return to board index
Location: Shattrath Prison
Kitanga was slapped awake by the squad captain of the group that had been sent to escort her. She quickly found that she was chained in place to prevent her from attacking the draenei in any way. Not that she wanted to. She still felt exhausted from before. Her heart had nearly failed, and even though she had received healing, she hardly felt better. And the voices were worse than before, cursing at her and radiating hate that she felt from nearly every draenei that dwelt in this city.
"Who are you?" the vindicator asked.
"I am... Kitanga..." She managed to say, tiredness in her eyes.
"Indeed..." the draenei paused. "What made you think that you could start a fight in this city, and attack my men? You nearly killed one of my soldiers."
Kitanga paused, unsure of what to say.
"I don't think you'll believe me..." She began, "But I didn't try to. Something... malicious... came over me. I came here to heal, not to harm."
"I believe you succumbed to orcish bloodlust..." the draenei answered. "But that does not excuse you." He paused, standing. "I have other business to attend to at the moment though. Stay here. If you have anything you would like to tell me, you can tell the guard. I will be back soon." He finished, walking away.
"This the orc they've been talking about?" Masra asked, stopping the guard in the passage way and the other draenei nodded. "The Death Knight is in here too..... sir, are you Masra the Breaker?" The younger Draenei asked, looking up at Masra who nodded curtly, not liking to think about what he had done to obtain that nickname.
He strode down the corridor, looked in on the Death Knight and saw him still out cold, before moving on to the orc's cell. He stopped outside it and looked in, a little put off to see a female orc sitting there.
Location: Shattrath Prison
Kitanga looked up ashamedly, not saying anything to the newcomer before turning her head away. She didn't want to see the hate anymore.
Edit: Gotta sleep soon.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
"It wasn't your fault." Masra said in broken orcish, slidding some wrapped food into the orc woman's cell. "The Death Knight did it." He told her, pulling his helm off and runing his hand through his short hair, his facial tendrils twitching slightly.
"I hate your race. But.... I can't see one of your kind breaking the sanctuary rules, they would know better." Masra told her, sitting down by the wall outside her cell and staring at nothing.
Location: Shattrath Prison
Kitanga glanced at the food absently, not feeling hungry.
"I am sorry," She managed to answer. "Not just for what happened today, but for all of it. I feel such shame for my people's actions, and yet, I am hardly above them myself..." She murmured, never having really spoken to a Draenei about such things before and feeling more uncomfortable than ever. "This place... is a constant reminder of what we did. I hear them... the spirits of those slain here. They are so sad and so angry. It hurts." She paused, biting her lip, remembering the orphan she saw on the street. "There was nothing I could do to stop it--I was not even born yet--but that doesn't change the fact that it happened, and it was my people that were in the wrong. And there's nothing I can do to make up for it." She finished, turning to the wall.
((Going to sleep for reals...))
"So you give up then?" He asked her quietly, surprised to hear such emotions from a member of the orc race. "Rather then letting it overwhelm you, allow them to show you what happened, let yourself feel it. Your fairly safe in there child, so, do what you must." Masra said, standing and starting to leave but turned back.
"Once, your kind and my were allies little orc." He said, stepping in front of the bars so she could look at him if she choose. "I myself had a few allies, in the Laughing Skull tribe, the Shadowmoon even the Frostwolves. If you turn from the past and do nothing, you'll let things go on as they always have. The war between your race and mine was a horrible thing, but..... your kind was held under thrall of the demons, so, as much as I hate your kind, I know that your not all like the Demon horde." Masra said then moved off, stopping by the Guard before he left. "Keep the Death Knight under lock and key, but get someone in here to help the girl, something manipulated her during the battle, I don't believe it was her fault." The vindicator said to the guard who nodded and saluted him as he headed off, intending to look through the city for anymore hot spots like what had happened at World's End.
((OOC- Missed all the action...sadface))
World's End Tavern
A fight had broken out behind him, Curaar was to lost in his thought to bother about it, eventually it was stopped.
After another drink Curaar left the tavern and mounted Irontusk again, setting off towards Aldor Rise where he would probably remain until nightfall.
((Time to make the most dieaballickall, evil guy yet))
"What on earth were you thinking troll you will die for your crimes" The guard said pushing the troll forward.
"Yes after he rots in here forever" One of the guards said
I loved every minute of it too,the screams were music to my ears" The troll said with a wicked grin on his face
"Wait, hold him up" The guard in front of the troll said as the other guard grabed the troll and stood him up
"Lets see if you like this" The guard asked punching the troll in the face twice with his plated glove blood flying from the troll mouth
"Please sir can I have some more" The troll repiled shocking the guards as the guard backhanded him and punched him in the ribs
"Is that all you got" The troll said spiting blood in the guards face
"Damn you" The human guard said pulling out his sword and smashing the butt of the sword in the prisoners face knocking him down as both the guards started to kick and punch him on the ground
"Throw him in" The guard said as both the guards picked him up and threw him in the jailcell as the guards locked the door behind him
"Hey human" Thanie said getting up and heading toward where the locked cell door was
"When I get out of here
FAMILY ARE DEAD, YOU HEAR ME.................... DEAD
" A look of shook and fear came across the humans face as he quickly headed for the door
" The troll laughed as now the human was now running as fast as he could away from the troll as Thanie meant what he said.
Character: Forlon Mording
Location: Shattrath City
Forlon woke up, spitting some what little blood was still in his mouth to the side. He realized he had been stripped of his weapon and his gear, along with guards keeping watch over him constantly.
"Well well well," Forlon said smiling, "it seems all of you finally managed to capture me," Forlon said. He saw he was bound in iron chains around his arms and legs to the wall, the peacekeepers making sure he wouldn't get away.
"Oh please, this is pathetic, not even worthy for an ogre," Forlon said. He knew once he regained his strength that he could easily begin to corrupt the chains and make them shatter from becoming to cold from ice and shattering.
"You can be quiet," one of the peacekeepers said.
"Oh, but I don't think I will. I think I'll spend every waking moment tormenting you," Forlon said. He let out a deafening screech that made the peacekeepers stagger back, covering their ears or risk permenantly going deaf.
"I'll make sure my stay here is a good one," Forlon said, laughing madly now.
Location: Shattrath Prisoner
Kitanga smiled slightly at the screech. One of her ears began to bleed from the inhuman sound, but for a moment it drowned out the voices that tormented her.
As soon as she was free, she'd have to leave the city. She couldn't take this much more.
Thanie heard a inhuman screech that made his ears bleed and liked the pain and ran to the cell door
"Aw yes do it agian" Thanie wanting to fell the pain agian
Masra was within the Terrace of Light, kneeling and basking in the Light of A'dal, reconnecting to the Light and trying to settle his mind after the insanity of the previous night.
That Death Knight was suppose to be an ally, yet he attacked and broke the Sanctuary, then he forced that poor orc to relive her insanity driven days. Truly, I long for the days before the Draenor War, when this world was perfect and we were merely living in peace with the world.
Sighing, Masra stood, bowed low to A'dal, then headed off on patrol of the city.
((Safe for me to join? I mightn't get lost in here ;D))
((want to join too, with the char I have been thinking on for some time but.. he is a warlock and he will be the fourth? fith?))
((ooc - come in, it's another sandbox like evening in dalaran.... and the more warlocks the better.))
"Get back prisoner" One of the guards said sliding a small bowl in a slot in the door
"Whats is this crap" Thanie asked eyeing the nasty looking soup
"Now its your dinner" The troll said grabing the bowl and throwing the contents all over the guards face
"HAHAHAHAHAH" Thanie laughed histericaly at what he did
"Fine starve to death I dont care" The guard said wiping his face off leaving
((im having fun with this guy lol))
((Needs more dots i presume? (P.^) oh and wall of text incoming.))
