Hello, I'm here in need of help because I would like to re-customize my Interface. I have been using the default blizzard interface for most of my time I have been playing, and I decided it's time to change things up, as I got a new computer and a new monitor for christmas, and now I play the game at a beautiful 1920x1080 resolution. On my old computer I was running at 1280x1024 and this new resolution is just great, I love it, anyhow. The way I'm looking to re-do my interface is by having a window on the left side of the screen that has guild chat and then like tabs for private messages, trade channel and so on. Then in the middle of the screen I was thinking of of having my action bars since this is how I see alot of people do their interface, but I don't want to copy them but I can't think of anywhere else for my action bars for now. And then last, on the right side of the screen I was thinking of having my combat log along with recount below it so I can see stats from recount such as dps, damage done, etc. Also I'd like to have on the right side of the screen is like a little bar with my FPS, Latency, Bag Space, Gold and so on, I seen this done on someone's interface I was looking at but can't remember the source right now. Anyway, what would I need to get started on customizing my interface the way I layed it out. I'm not looking for a nameplate replacement either, I like the default blizzard one for now cause thats what I'm used too. Thanks everyone that is able to help me out, I'd really appreciate it alot, and tips or suggestions on my layout would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for both of those links, I bookmarked them asap. I was looking at that wowinterface site and they have a lot of categories to search through, and I found one it was like a compilation section and I found an interface called Roth UI, apparently it was most downloaded and it looked cool so I decided to try it. I'm still getting use to it, and not sure if I'm gonna keep it or not, but for the time being I need some help with it. 1 is there any way to make the action bar buttons bigger without increasing the UI scale? because the bigger I make it, the bigger everything else gets like my character sheet window, bags, etc and that just looks bad!. 2 can I move omen from the center of the screen like in my screen shot, cause I can't even see where I'm walking with it in the middle like that. 3 are there seperate money addons that can keep track of my gold, like an addon that I don't need fubar with or titanpanel or something? cause I think adding either of those 2 would make the UI look nasty. And thats all the questions I have for now, if anyone uses this interface I'd appreciate some help.

There have been some very interesting studies over the years about how humans parse text. I imagine the differences in how humans from various cultures with different (LTR, RTL, Top-Down) writing systems parse text would be fascinating.

I think Germanic cultures have a greater deal of trouble reading text which isn't using the "correct" format. Didn't we go over this partly in one of your threads pelf? I assume it ended up being locked, but still.

Probably. Maybe we should make a discussion thread for OT stuff between UI&M regulars like we have in Druid.

I agree verily. That way immortalized posts won't have to be deleted.

Sorry about not using proper writing etiquette, I just don't think about it when making forum posts on here or any other forums I frequent. But in anycase, can someone look over my previous post cause I really would like to do some of those changes I want to do, I just don' know how.

I've tried RothUI before (I try just about every UI that gets published O.o) and I am fairly certain you can delete the bottom bar files and install rActionbars and rBottomStyler and just adjust them as desired:
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info12168-rActionBarStyler.html
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info12975-rBottomBarStylerDiablo.html
There are commands listed on those pages.
It's been a while since I tried RothUI though, this post may or may not be helpful -- feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, haha.
