All you need to worry about as a low level DPS, and this still goes for higher levels, is to not die.
This means:
No standing in the fire. (Or anything that can hurt you that you can move out of.)
Don't try to tank. This can get annoying at times, for both the tank and the healer. If you want them to go faster, ask nicely.
Do what you can to help out. This means if you are low on health and not in a fight, try and heal yourself if you can. Also targeting the tank's target will help kill that one faster.
There are other ways to help out, such as giving buffs you have. It isn't until higher levels that you should worry about dps.

If it shows up in the LFD tool, then blizz thinks it's appropriate for your level. This isn't wrath anymore where we have to guess.

as long as you queue for random dungeons, you always should be able too complete a dungeon.
all the dungeons you do while leveling shouldnt be difficult to do, unless your in a really bad group. even then it should be possible too finish it.
also if someone in the group knows what to do or knows the way, try following him/her and learn how it works along the way. ofcourse there will be a few who 'know' the way but go the wrong way the whole time. but generally spoken someone who gives hints on what to do or where to go is worthwhile following.
its never a bad thing too learn from a more seasoned player, grab these moments with 2hands as it will only futher enhance your own experience.
just be aware of the jerks who like too hang around in LFD and declare that everyone is bad (while they themself are it also most often). just ignore them and keep going forward.
