Machine gun twink... how fast can he get?

Ok. With the help of the profiler, ive been 'making' twinks, and im not good a crunching numbers. #s+Leuitinet= headache. Ive got a hunter built and he's machine gun spec'd right down to the glyphs (hawk and rapid fire). My question for the number crunchers out there is, what is the speed of a Bow of Searing Arrows with Imp Hawk 15%, Rapid Fire 40%, Hawk gylph 6%, abd glyph Rapid Fire 8%? The speed of the bow is 2.70. oh and add the troll 20% beserking.

Calculating speed increases is relatively simple. Allow me to show you...
You simply take the number you want to manipulate (In this case, Bow of Searing Arrows with 2.70 speed), then you take the % speed increase you want to combine with a weapon. For example...
2.70 times .85 = 2.30, rounded up.
To do this, I took the 15%, and subtracted from 100%, leaving me 85%. Then, I took the speed 2.70 and multiplied it by 85%, or .85 on a calculator, leaving me with 2.295. For the sake of being simple, I rounded up, since the final digit, or number, was 5, leading me to 2.30.
Here is a list of abilities plus the new speed of the bow when abilities are used.
Imp. hawk buff: 2.30 bow speed. With glyph: 2.13
Rapid fire: 1.62 bow speed. With glyph: 1.40
Troll Racial Berserk: 2.16 bow speed.
Now let us assume that all of these speed increases stack. Even so, the percentages will not work out to be a flat out 89% from the effects. For example, say you have two effects that increase speed by 15%, totaling 30%. Well, these effects are not combined, but stacked (hence the term stacking..). For example, take a weapon with a speed of
1.00
. reducing the time between swings by 15% gives us
0.85
. Then after that effect takes place, the other 15% is added, but not at the same time, rather after the first. So instead of being left with
0.70speed as you might expect, you are in reality left with 0.72
. (Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm getting to your desired answer.)
In short, what we should be left with, assuming that all effects stack, would be a shooting speed of roughly...
0.89 bow speed.
Take note that the glyphs are combined with the respective ability's effect. The resulting three effects are not combined, but stacked.
Personally, I would prefer

Bow of Searing Arrows
any day. First, because it is slightly faster than it's epic comparison. Second, and
amazingly
, the chance on hit does
even more damage
than an
epic weapon 18 levels higher than it
, and the fact that it's a blue makes it even
more
incredible. Lastly, you only gotta grind to level 19, turn off exp, and then run wailing caverns till you get this baby :).

I TY for the answer and the details leading to the answer. I agree on the bow issue but im not a big fan of twinking at 19... not as much as a challenge.... exspecially since the twink is a hunter. 19 twink hunter= OP. But again TY for the help it will be put to good use.

One problem with the xp being turned off, on my 19 twink I can't even get

to bg's. They should have the people with xp off and the people with it on in the same bg's, because not many people bother twinking at the 19 bracket.
It hasn't stopped me >:3
I still twink out my rogue, I just can't twink for long.
He can take out the poorly geared lvl 39 warriors at 33 :D
But, yes, it would be very tiresome if you saw the same 19 hunter with 1100 health every other bg O.o

I thought that BLizz was gonna make it were twinks had there own pvp BGs. If you turn XP off you could que for the bgs and pvp with others that turned XP off also. I think that would make everyone happy. It makes a lil sence to me.

It is like that, it was implemented in 3.2 I believe, if not 3.1.

thats good news... I think All twink Bgs would be epic in their own right lol. Well ive got twinks in the works, thanks to the profiler of course, and im looking forward to gettin them up adn running

is the weapon to go. It's currently ( with the dalaran boomstick) the fastest ranged weapon in-game. There are also some maths in the comments that might interest you

The 19 bracket used to be the most popular one to twink in. Mostly because it took the least effort to get a twink finished. By that I mean, a character with good gear, not the best gear (which still took a lot of time and effort to do).
If they let twinks back in to the BGs now, the bad pvpers would whine about being 2 shot again...missing the point that they're getting their faces wrecked by well geared non-twinks anyway. But what can ya do.
I like how you say "bad pvpers" like the 19 bracket is a rated and professional bracket. those lvl 15s sure know everything right?
