Macro Cast Issue

I am using a macro that casts dispel (upon pressing 'v') and casting mass dispel by using a shift modifier:

#showtooltip Dispel Magic
/cast Mass Dispel;Dispel Magic

The problem is that mass dispel will not trigger. If I click on the macro holding shift it works but I don't want to use my mouse, I wan't to use shift-v. Is this because mass dispel is not a cast but more so a target? Is there a special way to do this?
