Maelstrom Weapon Procs

I spent almost an hour beating up a lvl 80 dummy in Org trying to see which was better for me, WF/WF or WF/FT. Turns out WF/FT won out by 46 dps, not much but still ahead. I think it's the bonus spell dmg from FT that does it, since so much of our dmg now comes from spells.

Anyway, I have two questions. First, do WF procs proc MW? I felt like they were, it seemed like I was getting far more MW procs with WF/WF and there were times when I'd see the tornado animation and boom, two MW procs. Has anyone noticed this or is it just me? My second question is, how do glancing blows work on same lvl mobs? Recount was showing I had glancing blows (about 5%) on the lvl 80 dummy but the min/avg/max for the glances were about the same as the normal non crit white hits.

1. MW is a proc per minute not a proc per hit and it can proc of SS, WF, LL and white attacks

Thanks for the response. I had no idea before that WF could proc maelstorm. The glancing blow article on wowwiki is awful though, way too hard to get the math. I found this which explains with easier math; with max weapon skill against 80 mobs I still will have a 10% glancing blow chance but the dmg reduction is 0%, increasing to 30% against 83 mobs (10% per lvl above me).
