I'd think twice before trying to compete as frost for the moment. Arena is a pure dps fest. Pick a partner with extreme burst (Ret Paladin, Rogue, DK) and profit. Perhaps as the season matures and resilience and hp totals get higher on the collective arena populace, frost will again be strong. However, for now, pick your target, pop your cooldown, Pom Pyro Barrage Fireblast and win. Do this before you get melted yourself.
It's a sad state of affairs in there right now. You would think given our potential with burst dps I would be happy, but it has completely removed the skill and coordination that was there.
Couldn't agree more. Get 2 pompyro mages and roll. Just be careful not to unload in someone's divine shield or ice block.
