Come, come now folks. What has always happened in the past?

Choices

1) Redesign the spell to make it less effective (or such). Simple and easy.

2) Nerf mages.

Or the simple solution of making the mage talents only work when the absorption comes from mage shields...

Unless I am missing something I think that its a fake

The second video with Loatheb says the ret pally was named Pai. I armoried 'pai' (the only 80 pally named pai) and she does not have the achievement for downing Loatheb with under 21 people in the zone on heroic, nor the equivilant achievement for 10 man

Something that would have been gotten had it been real...

In case it's not clear exactly what's going on in that video:

Death Knight Cavaliers have a Bone Armor ability which can be stolen using spellsteal. Holding onto a pack of 4 Cavaliers and spell stealing bone armor repeatedly a mage can be immune to the damage they deal as well as anything else that tries to hurt them.
Combine that with the Incanter's Absorption talent and the mage can stack their spell damage up to over 140,000 as shown. Enough to solo Naxx bosses as long as the mage can keep the bone armor buff active all the time.

At least according to comments on the video Bone Armor can no longer be spell stolen so you may not be able to repeat this trick.

Yeah, except that when you watch the video you can see the text is in GERMAN.
So search them from the EU Armory. Not the US one.
Good call, i always forget the characters are seperated by region as well

They must have done it on Regular then if they did do it

We tried this in our Naxx raid last night, and it appears they hotfixed it already. I think our mages cried themselves to sleep after the raid :P
