I still kinda like his guide better. You have links to spells and etc, but his actually shows their uses in PvP.
It was more of a joke than anything. But in all honesty, most spells usage in PvP is as self-explanatory as its general usage. Not all spells, mind you, but most.
I'd agree with you if he had given more specific examples; something beyond: "This is a stun. This is an interrupt. This is a damage spell. This is a self-heal." etc etc. That much is explained in the tooltips for each spell.
But ANYWAY. Again, I was more cracking a joke because I'm an ass like that.

This thread... I see no point to it is all.
This. Just like any other attempt to compare classes it is totally pointless. You can compare warriors to priests because they have an AoE fear and shamans to mages because they have an AoE root. In the end every class is largely different and has a largely different playstyle, but if you really want to boil it down to its constituents, every class is the same as all you do is move and use abilities.

You kinda missed the point of the comparison. They weren't comparing them to say, "Hey look, these classes are similar; I think they should be changed to be more unique." They were comparing them to give their friends an idea of how each class differs so as to give them a better idea of which class they might want to roll as (I'm guessing) a first character.
