They spent a while longer inside the cockpit, Nora having to correct Amy multiple times, as it seems the girl either forgot or spaced out during certain sections of the medic's lesson. When Nora was confident that Amy most likely wouldn't crash instantly, she led her out of the Banshee.
"I'll see if we'll have to do some planetside training, if not, I guess you get field practice," Nora said chipperly.
Amy groaned just a bit at the thought.

"When do I get to train with flamethrowers and napalm rockets, anyway?" Alistair pondered aloud, reloading the pistol and taking aim again.

"Alright..." Logan stated, aiming at a target. "Let's see where this puts us..."
Sucking in a breath and holding in, he squeezed the trigger. As the gun rose, he pulled it down, holding his aim at the target as he intended to empty what was left in his clip.
It was mostly just to feel cool.

Nora led Amy out to the firing range, where the girl anxiously waved at everyone else, "Hi guy!" before being pushed to an open target by the medic, who worked to help the young girl shoot her gun. Unfortunately, being a failure at life, Amy managed to miss every shot.
Above, in the observation deck, two figures moved away from the window and down to the entrance.

The rifle clicked, and Logan released the trigger. His arms shook somewhat, and the target was absolutely shredded and littered with bullets from the non-stop firing. "Oh hai!" He smiled at Amy, watching as she shot her gun and frowning slightly.
He bit his lower lip, wondering if he should try to help her out right away.

Amy grumbled under her breath, trying again with another round of bullets. She managed to hit the target twice, out of the ten shots she fired, and she sighed.
"Better," Nora mumbled. "But hold your hands steady, sheesh, you're shaking worse than an SCV after too many drinks."
The far door parted open before Harvard and a tall woman following behind him. She wore the regular
Hyperion
officer's suit, dark blonde hair falling to her shoulders and curling at the ends, and sharp green eyes scanned the new recruits as they practiced. The former Magistrate of Mar Sara, and now a chief command officer of Raynor's Raiders, pursed her lips in thought.
"These are the new recruits," Aiden explained, folding his arms across his chest. "They're being transferred to your unit (unfortunately, my sympathy) so I figured you might want to see them."
"I'll withhold judgement until I see if they're useful on the field," Madison replied, with flat expression.

"There are sights on the top of the pistol." Logan told Amy. "Get your feet set, make sure the gun is steady, and center them on the target." He nodded, popping the spent magazine from his rifle.

"Hola, Mad Lee!" Gregory called cheerfully, waving at the magistrate of his once home planet.

With a mocking sigh, Madison waved back at Gregory. Nora patted Amy on the soldier, "Yeah, follow that dude's advice, I gotta go talk to the important chick who is now your boss," the medic replied, zipping away from Amy and heading over to Lee. "Woahkay, so I'll have all the paperwork and stuff formally filled out, but if I don't..."
Nora leaned in and whispered to Madison, who nodded, "I see," she replied. "And that's it?"
"Nothing more, nothing less."
"So let me get this straight, I need to requisition a marauder suit, a firebat suit, a marine suit, a siege tank, and one of our only two Banshees to a group of untrained and untrustworthy children?" the Magistrate asked.
Nora paused, thoughtfully, "Yeah, pretty much."
Harvard facepalmed, "This sounds worse when you actually say it."
Amy followed Logan's explanation, and managed to get four shots the next time, "Woot!"

"I have a good feeling about them," Mandrake shrugged, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he walked up to the three. "I mean, they had enough luck not to be sliced into ribbons by the fanatics - or, in Mercer's case, eaten by the zerg."
Mercer, meanwhile, shook his head, turning away from Madison and very carefully continuing to shoot.

Madison sighed, setting a hand against her head, "I do not see how this will end well, but I'll trust all of you on this. If you think they'll be useful, I'll have Swann send all of it to our hangar."
Harvard muttered something under his breath, glancing sideways at Nora, who shrugged.

"Something makes me think that we're nearly done here," Alex muttered to Alistair.
