Amy drove the Banshee, relaxing in her chair for a brief moment, before jumping at the sight of something streaking through the sky in front of her, "INCOMING!" she shouted over the comm, trying to clear the goop from her windshield as the mass of flesh and zerg eggs came crashing into the ground in front of the APC.
The eggs exploded, giving way to hordes of zerglings, and the ground began to buckle and groan.

"It's a nydus. Of course it's a motherf*BLEEP*ing nydus," Alistair muttered, then raised his eyebrows when he realized that the comm actually bleeped over his swearing.

"Just keep the APC moving!" Logan shouted, firing off into the zerg. Several zerglings got within striking distance, quickly being mowed down. One managed to bring its claw down, scratching nearly all the way through Logan's suit.
Slicing his bayonet across the beast's face, he continued backing up, bracing himself against the side of the APC and firing as he walked with it.

Amy fiddled with the targeting controls, firing off multiple shells into the zerglings, until she froze and looked out the cockpit at the bubbling earth in the front of the APC. Suddenly the ground exploded outwards, giving way to a Nydus worm that began spitting out more forces. The Banshee pilot shouted something unintelligible, firing blindly at the worm.
Nora jabbed her syringes into a nearby zergling, actually pumping the zerg so full of meds that it went lifeless. She shot a flashbang into the midst of the horde, buying the marines some time before the zerg regrouped.

"Eat this. Literally," Alistair muttered, sending two homing napalm rockets into the maw of the gargantuan worm. Whilst they flew Mercer gleefully continued to burn any xenos to come too close to the APC.

Logan looked ahead at the Nydus worm. "That just figures..." He commented, pulling out a grenade and priming it.
He waited for the worm to open its mouth, letting more forces flow out. "SMILE YOU SON OF A *BEEP*!" He shouted, tossing the grenade and watching it bounce off the side of the opening and into the worm.
A roach suddenly slammed into him; ramming the marine into the side of the APC with a scream. "Get off!" He shouted, punching at the roach's face. His fist made contact, denting into the exoskeleton somewhat but not killing the beast.
The roach screamed again, bringing down a claw and sigging it through Logan's armor and into his left arm. The boy screamed, punching the zerg again in pain and trying to get free.

The Nydus worm explode outward into a shower of gore, allowing the APC to continue down the road. Zerg shells fell from the sky, unleashing a steady stream of zerglings on all sides. Amy was shouting something incoherent, her screams drowned out by all the screams of everyone else over the comm. Shouts of reinforcements, death counts, everything. It was madness.

Alistair gritted his teeth, the sounds of battle shutting down one by one. All that existed for him was his suit and the zerg and the humans nearest to him. Without realizing that he was cackling madly, Alistair burnt his way forward, whilst the lactic acid burnt
him
from the inside.

Logan was showed in gore from the roach, ripping the claw out of his arm and shoving it into a charging zergling a blood seeped from his wound and down his armor.
Picking up his rifle, he shouted something that the comm registered as an obnoxiously long beep. Pulling the trigger, he sprayed one-handed into the zerg forces.

"Roger," Alistair grunted, shouldering a ling out of his way and running up to the tank. He did not hesitate to burn every xenos he could get without stepping more than one step away from the vehicle.

The gun continued to swing and target the largest clusters, firing into the densest piles of zerg for best effect.

Nora turned and grabbed Logan by his shoulder armor, shoving her syringes into his wound and pumped them with anesthetics. Afterwards, a team of nanobots hastily repaired his suit, before the medic shoved him off, turning to helping others on the field.
Amy carefully followed the APC, her hands shaking at all the projectiles coming extremely close to her Banshee.

Logan groaned as Nora helped him, his arm feeling numb now. Seeing several zerg forces firing upwards, he sprayed at them with hip-fire; shredding into them with just sheer numbers of bullets, rather than accuracy.

Alistair looked down dully when suddenly he felt his knee was thrust into a raging fire. He was quite surprised to see a ling tendril lodged under his kneecap, and a stain of dried blood on the ankle.
"Ow?" he muttered, shaking his head.

Nora kicked the zergling away from Alistair, pulling the firebat back, and tripping the boy purposely. She bent down and jabbed her gear down to throw some temporary healing on his ankle before helping him back up and throwing her combat shield out to keep a few roach sprays from melting another marine.

"Appreciated," Alistair wheezed, planting his feet firmly into the ground to give them some rest while he stood, dispensing fiery death.
