Amber tried to listen to the conversation taking place, but seemed slightly more focused on the strip of fabric covering her hand, "... Thanks," she mentioned to Logan, with the spacey tone of someone who wasn't all-together there.
Cautiously she pressed her fingertips against the fabric. Still no pain. It probably wasn't an actual wound. Well. At least she hoped it wasn't. Magic infections were probably a lot worse than regular infections. Maybe.

Mike moved to follow through the door, but as he approached it, he felt something pulling him back, like an invisible cord between him and... something.
Turning back, he moved to a particular spot on instinct. Sitting alone on a shelf among all the other weapons in the chamber, was a book, bound in black leather with gilded pages and very thick. Something in it called to him, and he picked it up.
Holding the book carefully in his hand, he stepped through the door, lifting the cover and reading the first page.

"Hehe, the Curator. Fun times," Amber laughed under her breath. She looked around the room, and then down at the lines on the floor. "I figure yeah, we're still in the library. If I remember correctly, this may be Terestian Illhoof's room? Is that his name? The satyr with the imp dude."
