Des blinked, setting the books he had grabbed onto the table as he noticed most of the cots being taken.
"Got any drinks around here?" Logan asked the albino.
"What?" The boy looked over, surprised.
"Beer, mead, liquor, anything?"
"N-no... there's a tavern down the road."
Logan fell silent, looking down suddenly. "$%^&... we don't have any money. For... anything, really."

"Here." Jonas absently tossed his umbrella at Logan. "Pawn that. Probably won't get much use of it here. 'Course," he mumbled, snuggling deeper into his coat. "Might have money if...asked the...nice ladies..." His voice petered off into a snore.

Logan looked at the umbrella where it had landed nearby. "Not a bad idea..." He mumbled, glancing up at the other's sleeping forms. "I wonder how much we could all make..." He leaned back, considering.

Zero snatched the candlestick , turning it over in his hands with scrutiny. He laughed shortly, holding it in one hand as he rummaged in his belt pouches for a smokey glass bottle and what appeared to be a stick of violet chalk, "This'll do nicely."
He found an empty stretch of floor and bent down, both setting the candlestick down and beginning to draw a circle surrounding it with the chalk. Zero worked his way outwards, hand working in sharp, fast motions to sketch steadily more arcane designs until he was on the fringes of a large magic circle.
The mage popped the cork off of one of the bottle, releasing the contained smoke into the air above the entire display. Zero stood up as he stepped back, putting the glass container away, and flourished his wand.
Arcane energy surged through the mage and through the bladed catalyst. The air around the group seemed to grow heavier, and in a way almost darker, as the chalk lines illuminated with sudden power. The glow thrummed down the lines, catching the candlestick in the center, which after a brief moment of collecting the magic sent a single beam of light up into the cloud of smoke above it.
"... and that's where they've gone," Zero finished with smug satisfaction, observing the haze. Pinpricks of light in smoke seemed like stars, threading between them lines of magic and arcane symbols cryptically hovering at the very edge.

In his dreams Jonas stood atop an ivory tower. Clad in black iron, he raised his mace and cackled in glee as

fields of icecream flowed beneath his feet and a

only it wasn't ice cream but rivers of blood and he

was leading a volley of knights against the enemy and all of a sudden they were orcs with wet noddles and a maiden with blonde hair and huge tracts of land swooned in his arm as he fought back one handed and for some reason the orcs were all white like marble

but that wasn't weird at all. In fact it was amazingly right. More than right. He was among them and slaughtering them and eating their
SOULS!

Jonas woke with a start. He yawned expansively and sat up in his coat, rubbing his neck, stiff from the cot.

Hollum's eyes glowed in his hood. "Ironforge."
"Ooh! I can wear my new winter outfit!" Gee squealed and clapped her hands with a sound like a hummingbird wings.

The albino known as Des was seemingly missing from the lower room.

Martin opened his eyes wide as he awoke from his slumber. His dreams a rapidly fading memory. His sight granted the view of his own arm, that he had used as pillow, he sensed something wet on the arm, as he touched it with his other arm, he noticed it was droll.
Tiredly and zombie like, he moved up to two feet. He sensed a urge most primal, a message to his brain telling him, that he needed to eat.
"Is there any breakfast?" The lazy man said with a yawn.
