Mining

Hello,

I made a hunter alt and decided I wanted to do Mining/Engineering on it. The problem I'm having is leveling the Mining passed 120. I know that sounds weird, but I really don't know where to find a decent area of silver nodes to mine and smelt seeing as copper, tin and bronze are grayed out which doesn't grant me any skill-ups. I really don't want to have to buy any ore, so can anyone help me out here?
