So I'm new at moonkin, and I was told (lied to) that mana isn't an issue and you can taken a minimum on mana saving talents. Thus, I'm feeling that for now, I should respec to get a little back.
Currently:

Looking at:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0xG0uicsIdhVhRuZbxcub
and...
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0xRbuicsIdhVhRuZbxcub
One drops Celestial Focus for Dreamstate, the other does that and drops Improved Moonfire for Moonglow (6% reduced mana costs on most spells. Any other ideas? :/ One would argue I could shut my mouth and keep upgrading my gear, but OOMing on heroic boss fights. I haven't done a ton of them, so it could be group composition, but I'd rather error on the safe side.

Try:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0xRbuicscdhVuRuZMxcdb
And If you need more mana regen take those 3 extra points and top off intensity then spend the rest in dreamstate. If not spend the points into CF or IFF. This is a fairly good base build with 3 points to swing around as needed.
_
On a side note if you build the entire spec with out placing the points into dreamstate/intensity (Keep the OoC point spent) you can calc which one will give you a greater increase to mana regen form that point and spend accordingly. Basically take:
Dreamstate: Int*0.1 = mana regen from 3 points in Dreamstate
or
Intensity: ((Listed mana regen out of combat)-(mp5 from gear))*0.3 = mana regen gained from 3 point in Intensity.

Looking at both these builds without dreamstate why would you waste points on furor? You want to spend point into furor for the extra Int. Int provide increase raw spell power(from LG), increased chance to crit(80 int is 1% crit) AND an increase to your mana pool size and making a replenishment even more effective. And as if all that was not enough you use it to get to master shapeshifter(4% to all casting dmg is amazing) and allows you to get points into OoC and Intensity which are by far and away your best mana regen talents. The only thing in question for the resto side of a balance spec is whether to spend 2 points in Imp MotW(if you have a resto druid you won't need to) or NF(reduces pushback by a considerable amount).

The order of most beneficial talents to have for mana pool lengthening is as follows(best to worst):
1. OoC
2. Intensity
3. Dreamstate
4. Moonglow
Intensity almost never becomes better then Dreamstate. The numbers for this is elsewhere and is pretty much rote now. So when you take this into account AND you look at the benefits of the skills taken to get you OoC and Intensity you will find that those points into Furor are very important indeed. Even more so for those who are having mana issues.

If I'm reading that correctly, that's moonglow being the most benefitial, OoC being the least?
I'm not a boomkin tho, but working out the kinks in my concept of how it works. =)

Well, a few upgrades later, things are becoming easier for me. I had a shadow priest in my heroics and that made things much easier, I think raiding will be so as well. Perhaps just too many chain pulls with little drinking time. In any case, I was looking at getting the most of my Alchemy and getting the Endless Mana Potion, except it sucks >_>
Seriously, 400-600 mana each use. Multiply by 40% for the stone and that's only 550-750ish mana regained, while the normal ones are in the thousands. Compared to the endless healing potion which replenishes in the 2k range instead of 4k.

Dreamstate and intensity really should be side by side depending on gear levels. I have over 1000 int buffed. That's 100 MP/5 from Dreamstate. Intensity only gives me about 85. Early on, Intensity definitely trumps Intensity, but later on, it's going to depend on your gear, buffs, and what gems you chose.
Another way to save mana is to be sure you have the starfire glyph. The extended time on moonfire will ensure that you have to apply it less often.
Intensity
almost
never becomes better then Dreamstate.
Yes Intensity is not allways the best, but I said that.
You comments about the SF glyph are very true.
