Moonkin ToC gear help.
Return to board index
Need some help pertaining to gear choices.
is my armory. I am currently setting at 90 triumph emblems, and when I went to purchase 2pt9 232 I realized that there are not really any upgrades. I am not in a guild that can run 25 mans. SO I am wondering if I am in as good as it gets gear for where I am raid wise. Ignoring my weapon and bracers, I have plans for both (even though Anub won't cooperate with me on them). So should I continue to save my emblems or start gearing my pally out in ToC crafts by buying orbs?
I considered purchasing the gloves, however I would hate to lose the crit for minor bumps to the other stats.
Thanks for any help.

Thats what I was thinking but if I pick up the 232 pants then I loose 52 crit and 69 haste, and I gain a bunch of hit which I do not need. Would the 2p set bonus be able to cover the loss of the haste and crit?
Edit: I just got turned away from another toc25 pug for not having good enough gear, so I think I might just get the 232 gear and put it on to get into pugs even if it hurts my dps.
Try to get abyssal rune from ToC reg. That will be alot better than the blue trinket... even though there is no item level change, the trinket is much better and you wont have any more blues -and getting into pugs is mostly about the first impression the raid leader gets of your gear. he sees a blue, and its most likely a no go.... so definetly try to get the abyssal rune from ToC reg.
2t9 - Chest/Helm
2t8 - Legs/Shoulders
Offset - Gloves
How ever if you do not have access to that specific setup any combination of 2t8/2t9 will do fine.
Also, now that you're way over spell hit cap, switch your boot enchant to Tuskarr's Vitality. You can also switch out the +Hit gem in your belt. Also, don't forget to enchant your (I assume) new bracers.
And yeah, I'd try to replace your crafted/PVP stuff. That will probably make a big difference for getting into PuGs since it is a "first impression" thing. You might try getting into Onyxia pugs, since the
is pretty good and you've got a decent chance at getting it, since the head is 100% drop rate (though of course pretty much everyone is rolling on it).
