Out in the world, should my hapless litttle moonkin see a horde, a quick /dance virtually guarentees immunity from gankage.
As I am new to WoW and I am thinking of specing towards moonkin could you tell me why the dance usually saves you? Is it because wild moonkin dance or something? BTW, I do understand the term ganking, I suppose I am picking up and things rather quickly.

The dance is the one that Chris Farley did on SNL ... I don't remember the name of the skit/sketch/thing. It's pretty funny ... it's the same dance that Ogres do.
I think it's the same sort of thing as this one time when I was leveling my Mage out in Nagrand, a 70 Warrior dismounted and started attacking me. I figured, oh well, I'll finish this mob up. I killed the Ogre I was on, and that was the last bit of experience I needed to ding. The Warrior saw the level up animation, stopped attacking me, congratulated me and flew off.
I got a kick out of that.

You're gonna understand that word even better as the days go by, I'm sure :).
