Drek is clearly the most badass NPC, he's a shaman dual wielding swords... This is obvious proof that hes such a badass cuz nobody around him has the guts to tell him. That and pwning allys while being a blind guy...
Despite this statement being one of the most horrendous things I've ever had to withstand, I would have to agree on his choice. Blizzard has stated that Drek has more player kills to his name than any other NPC in the game. That is badass. Worrel is not.

Sir Zeliek has always been a favourite of mine for badass look. Sapphiron is a pretty badass encounter, so it'll do for my candidate there for now; Kael'thas beats it for epicness though (at least beating it prenerf). Brutallus however, is probably the most badass NPC overall, hits like a freight train and has the rare quality for a powerful pit lord to unashamedly relish in martial prowess - rather than the victory it brings. It does get even better if you have a personal experience of tanking him.

Drek'thar is the only other NPC that even comes close to the pure awesome that is High Overlord Saurfang. The manliness that each of these characters possess alone is enough to uproot the World Tree, and should they ever engage in combat, there will be nowhere to run where one will be safe from the deafening roars of two such great Orcs. The day that they battle one another is the day that the Cataclysm occurs and the expansion shall be released; no sooner, no later. "Soon" in this case is not subject to Blizzard Entertainment's definition, but rather, Blizzard Entertainment and all associated parties, terms, and definitions are subject to the pinky toe and left nut of Drek'thar and High Overlord Saurfang, respectively.
