Mutilate pvp weapon speed

Once I was told to equip two slow daggers, once I was told to equip fast dagger in MH (!) and slow dagger in OH, I was even told to equip two fast daggers. Can any1 explain me how it works and what's the point of equiping fast daggers with mutilate spec?

Fast/Fast is usually for PvE to make your dps higher. In PvP you want to have slow/slow for higher top end damage.

And why should fast/fast be better then slow/slow in pve? Do few additional auto-attack hits really compensate the huge loss of damage during mutilating?
