MV DPS requirements and group make up?

My guild is finally deciding to start a raid group, but I have two questions about it:
What is the DPS requirement? On WoL people are pullling 100k+, but those guys are top of the top, is the requirement around 80k?
And how many tanks/healers is required for a 10 man group in MV?

There's damage gimmicks on half the encounters in the instance, look at Feng or Spirit Kings if you want a better idea of what your dps should be able to pull in a raid.
You'll want two tanks and three healers out of which one tank and one healer should be able to play dps competently.

i would say most fights are more about correct execution then getting the high dps (except elegon dps and execution are important there).
your tanks should be aware, that compared too Dragon soul the bar of their needed attention is a lot higher right of the bat on the stone gaurds.
if these arent handled correctly for explosions then getting the encounter down will be very hard task.
this bar will be kept up through out the entire raid, so till your tanks get used too it expect too wipe quite a few times cause they messed up. our experienced tanks also had a rude wake up with MSV, so dont be too hard on the tanks and make sure they communicate during the fights.

the one thing that i have noticed is that dps generally needs to have an average of at least 40-50k to defeat bosses in a decent manner. any lower than that and your group may be having trouble downing the bosses. Some of them can be killed with less, but healers will more than likely be running on fumes by the end. or you may hit berserk. Most of these fights seem to have a 10 minute berserk so that is a long fight already. having the dps to down it faster than that really helps the fight go a lot smoother because healers may not run entirely out of mana or hit berserk.
Comp: go with what izichial said. 2 tanks 3 heals 5 dps with both a tank and healer able to dps when needed.

Minimum dps is about 50k, more or less depending on how much tanks can dish out, but you can carry supbar dpsers if your healers are good. It is preferable to have all major buffs covered, you can use this site to help you pick classes based on utility they bring:

I'd say the minimum DPS should be closer to about 40-45k.
On our first Feng kill, our DPS averaged to about 40k. That resulted in a kill in roughly 9 mins. It does help to have good healers that can last that long tho.

The first real DPS check in MoP seems to be Garajal. It has a classic 1-shot hard wipe mechanic at 6min 10sec. If you want to 3 heal the fight for stability purposes your DPS should all be pulling 70k on him simply in order to make the enrage timer.
Doggies and Feng are doable with 3 healers and "average" DPS. Gara is where you either need to have balling DPS or start underhealing stuff.
