Let me suggest a build I used for a long time until I got geared enough to use Felguard spec for both PvP and heroic/raids. This is NOT an arena spec....this just allows you to survive in BG's well and when you hit them...you hit like a truck. I'm also suggesting this becuase is sounds like you're just now getting some drops from the 5-mans...and the rest are outlands drops/quest rewards.
The thing is - until you start getting Kara loot // arena awards // PVP // badge rewards...you're more geared like a mage and have a good deal of +crit gear vs. +dmg. This is not the premier nuke build - but it allows you to be effective in BG's and put up respectable numbers in 5-mans and raids.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IV0bZfxczfVz0xRZxx0tr0zFor PvP you have the insta-corrupt // the stamina bonusus // the resist bonus from having the felpup out ( use Felpup always ) - the essential Soul link - and shadowburn for knocking off that last 1k hp from the runner. Cast order should be immo>corr>CoA > SB spam > shadow burn when applicable. It's not the best - but you'll be somewhat survivable and rack up some KB's with the crits.
For PvE there are several goodies that accumulate to some sexy dmg. Use the imp and don't activate soul link
+ you have the stam bonus to your group from imp
+ the increased stam for yourself
+ imp-Aegis which makes healers cream themselves when they crit ( I actually heard a pally WOO HOO in vent when he10.5k crit me)
+ Imp SB / Bane for nuking
+ Ruin to make the crits count
+ threat reduction from the imp which help counter the imp-SB-Ruin crits
+ the increased dmg from pet hp/mp
( unphase your imp so it gets the raid buffs as well )
As note : you also have sacrifice. If you're in the 500-800 dmg range keeping a pet out is going to benfit you more - but once you get closer to 1000k dmg the demon sac may serve you better -- it's also likely that if you're that geared the people you're running with don't need the extra Blood Pact HP cushion anymore either ( hell...most ppl are sporting PvP gear these days )
Cast order...
Prime target = Immo > corrupt > nuke (shadowburn whenever - ideally right upon death where you can make a bolt land about the same time the burn )
Don't bother with CoA on the first kill target ...is won't last long enough for it to be effective....just nuke....that's your forte'.
Secondary target = Corr + CoA
It's a bit unorthodox but hit covers the the bases and fits you best where you are from a gear perspective right now. You won't be topping charts necessarily...but you'll be in the race....and primarily...not respeccing every week.
