Need Help - Urgent! About Recruit a Friend

I am living in Denmark and Recruit-A-Friend is not available for me. So I created a trial account and said I was living in Germany where I know it is possible to use the "Recruit-A-Friend". I have now bought World of Warcraft retail in the stores and want to know if I upgrade the trial to a real account with the WoW retail I bought, if I will be able to access the recruit a friend? My IP is in Denmark and so was the game that I bought, does that make a difference? Or is purely stating that I am living in Germany when I created the account enough to fool the system?

Why wouldn't Recruit-A-Friend work in Denmark? I thought it was everywhere...
And yes, that would fool the system. I don't think Blizz is paranoid enough to crossreference the IP's of the Box and your Computer to the locations of Denmark and Germany :P

It's not because Blizzard doesn't want to support Denmark it is because of the laws in Denmark that prevent that type of promotion. But thanks for the guess, I'll try upgrading my account and hope that it works! :) I'll get back if it does for other people interested who are living in the forbidden countries.

I have a question to you people living in one of the forbidden countries.
When you login to your account is there a "Recruit a Friend" option?
Because I successfully upgraded and now see the "Recruit a Friend" option but when I click on it, it says I have 0 referrals left. I think it is because I am still playing on my trial time and not my play time. At least I hope.
