What spec are you now? You should shadow untill 80 then change to holy depending if you want more chances to raid because obviosly they are always in need of healers.
Im not sure on the prof pvp thing only thing i can come up with is FA? It'll save you some mana.

Shadow is kind of lackluster compared to holy pre-40. Try speccing holy until you can get shadowform and you should notice a significant improvement.
This is what I used pre-40, putting the first 3 points into spirit tap:
