Nether Tempest or Frost Bomb

Okay, so Noxxic is saying that Nether Tempest has better DPS potential than Frost Bomb, even though at my current levels(level 81, ilevel about 200), Frost Bomb hits like a truck.
In 5.2 is Nether Tempest's damage going to scale better, or will Frost Bomb's DPS blast be more preferable in dungeons/raids?

Can I get figures for Frost and Living Bomb(my brain isn't really wanting to perform complex math right now) and is Nether Tempest PvP because it's spammable and can hit a large group?

Frost Bomb might not be the best for damage, but it does have the slow, which can be helpful. Clothies do a lot of kiting, and rightly so :D
(I've been using it in BG's and PvE without any major issue, and still manage to get tops sometimes.)

I wouldn't really take what Noxxic says at face value, I never found it to be that reliable.
All 3 bombs are doing comparable damage for single target. Only in special conditions that they excel, 2-3 targets for NT, 3-5 for LB, 5+ for FB

You can't really compare just like that though, you need to take account the total damage they deal for the whole duration, as well as how often you have to reapply that. They are really close in damage for single target.
Also, 80k is really puny for a Frost Bomb Crit. Try 300k. :D

BTW Noxxic is the worst place for dps rankings, not accurate at all, do your own testing on dummys
in the real world

As for OP, you are lvl 80you can't compare that with lvl 90. You have different stat weights, miss a few abilities and the difference between questing/5mans and raids.

No I wont try to explain, its just a well known fact that simcraft is not as acurate as doing your own testing.
You still don't get it. You are saying you should test
magical spells on a dummy in the real word
.
