I'm leveling a gnome mage on a rppvp server because I'm getting bored with pve/p. Any suggestions with professions to start out with? I have 9c atm. :D
I'm thinking skinning and soemthing else maybe. any thoughts?

If you're serious about the RP aspect then I don't think skinning really fits the image of a mage.
Possibly Tailoring + Enchanting or even Alchemy + Enchanting would be more fitting.
