Just follow the quest progression for your race/faction and you'll be guided to the areas you should be questing in for your level. If you're confused, look around a capital city for a bulletin board that should give you a lead-in quest to an appropriate area for your level. It'll have a big yellow "!" over top of it, you can't miss it.
As for professions, you can make arguments for almost any of them for a Druid but it depends on what kind of bonuses you want and what you'd like to be able to do.
If you just want money, being a pure gatherer is always an option. Herbalism/Mining might be the best levelling combo since you'll get extra XP from both herb and mineral nodes, but Skinning is proving to be fairly lucrative these days as well and does give you some extra Crit which is a welcome stat for any Druid spec. Go with what you like doing best.
If you want some extra survivability, Alchemy is a natural choice. Having your own buff, health and mana potions will make levelling a lot easier. Be sure to take Herbalism with it, you don't want to be buying your herbs off the Auction House.
If you want easy gear, Leatherworking is the way to go. Sometimes there can be gaps between getting upgrades for some gear slots, and a crafted piece can help tide you over until you get something better. Again, Skinning is a must to take if you go with this profession.
Enchanting is universally useful for any class, but can be a pain to level unless you take a profession with it that can craft things for you to disenchant to get Enchanting materials. If you go this route, I'd take Tailoring to go with it. There isn't much for you gear-wise through Tailoring, but you can at least make things to disenchant in order to further your Enchanting. And as a Tailor you can also make bags, which there are always a market for in the game.
Engineering and Blacksmithing are arguable as to their worth to a Druid. There aren't many weapons worth making for us through Blacksmithing, and Engineering really won't show its worth until you're very far into it. But if you're dedicated, I'm sure you could make them work to your advantage somehow. Absolutely take Mining if you want to go with either of these.
And definitely get all your Secondary Professions as well. First Aid, Cooking, Fishing and Archaeology all have benefits for you at every level of play.
If you need more help learning how to level these professions, Wowhead has a lot of information on hand. I'd also recommend checking out
Crafter's Tome as it's a repository of information on all the Professions in the game including guides on how to level each of the quickly and easily.
Good luck, have fun, and welcome to the Druid class!
