What are you trying to do with this spec?
i can see some things that should be moved around for more dps, but it would help to know what you are trying to do.

Survial tree in it's current state is horrible for max raiding dps. I've built spec's into Survival couple of different way and always drop from 2.5k+dps to 1.5-2kdps at minimum. As it stands, until the explosive shot damage is increased the survival tree is only good for hunting party mana battery as far as I see.

OP, no point in taking Aimed and Barrage without Improved Barrage. Either move your Lightning Reflexes points over to Imp Barrage, or move your points in Aimed Shot and Barrage to Efficiency or something.
No point in taking Entrapment either, take Survival Tactics instead.
Thing is, once you get TSA, there's no point in stopping there: the rest of MM is waaaay better than the top half of Survival could ever hope to be (in a non-Explosive Shot spec). Hybrid specs will never perform well.
I would listen to Leth, he like the encyclopedia of Hunter for WoW.
Did you hear the news? Explosive Shot is getting a massive buff in 3.0.8. I'm excited :)

I actually have a beautiful set up with MM/Surv Spec... DPS is really high above 400 at lvl 78.. And life at 15K+ My mana is sitting around 11K... Most my talants are in MM but I have a few in Surv!.. take a look!

I'm not talking about dmg done per hit.. I'm talking about the DPS Stat!
my hit dmg non crit is well in the 700's
my crits have gone as high as 5500.. but avg around 3K
As far as not good choices... I've taken out lvl 80's when I was 75 without epic gear... I'd say the way I have things spec'd out is well rounded! for both PVP and PvE.. Since after all I m on a PVP server. I solo dang near everything

well right now this works wonders for me...... I get all my INT turned into AP and some of my stan turned into AP... everyone who has played with me has said I was the best hunter they have ever played with..
Who knows maybe I am just really good at my class and Stats really don't effect my playing style!
I'm not a ganker... I hate when people attack me at half health or when I am attacking something.. I don't do it to other people!
