New Profiler Version

Is this the final version of the profiler? As someone who didn't have any issues with the old version as a user, I'm disappointed about some of the functionality that didn't seem to get ported over to the new version. If the profiler is still being rolled out/in development, maybe there could be a header that provides the status and build version when the dialog box loads. Anyway.....
Prior to the change, I could type in a name or a portion of a name, filter (or not) on faction, race, etc. and get a list of results. This was a nice feature to have since there are so many variations of a character name, when you're typing from memory you may misspell or forget which special character to use.
With the new profiler, it looks as if I have to know everything possible about the character I'm trying to look up or it won't work. I gave it a couple of tries yesterday and didn't get results back. When I put my own character in there, I had forgotten to change the gender and it still didn't pull my character. It seems like there should be some way to display results, instead of just fail.
I know the first part of a character's name. I grouped with them in a dungeon. I wanted to be able to go back and see how they were spec'd and what gear they had. But I can only remember the 1st part of their character's name. I was hoping I could use the profiler to find them.
So, I'm not sure if the profiler is 'working as intended' or there is still work to be done. Anyway, thanks for your time.

the new Profiler.
A couple of the things that are being worked on for the replacement to the Profiler also happened to slot easily back into the old Profiler which allowed things like tracking MoP quest to be added into the old Profiler. While this was done, the now-defunct ranged slot and head enchants were removed but this was not a major overhaul and actually it has broken a couple of other things.
We're still working hard on the replacement for the Profiler. Please bear with us and we'll have more details when we're closer to completion.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##
