Saint Patrick's Day would be eerily close to Brewfest and therefore null.
The thought that there is no gambling in WoW is a lie, because we have /roll.
I don't really have much to say about WoW Olympics, except that it is inane.

The argument is, if there is gambling, the rating would have to change to M. Not true, if there is torture in the game, such as the quest in Borean Tundra, as well as the constant use of swear words in Trade Channel, and fact you can get drunk, I'm sure the players could deal with a Casino. How would this work? It's simple. They could put them in major cities - but what about the lag? Okay, put them in some under populated areas that no one goes to anymore, that'll boost up the population. Put your basic slots in the game, or a lottery where you can win money or items. I'm not talking about card games and such, as I'm sure the programming for doing so wouldn't be worth it. But slots, lottery, raffles, or dice rolling could easily work.
It's not about players "dealing with it", it's about that way rating things work. The profanity in chat isn't an actual part of the game, so it doesn't count. And the torture type quests (I know 1 in Borean Tundra, and 1 in DragonBlight) kind of slide under the rating radar.
Besides all this, WoW isn't an online casino, if you're into things like that, there are actual ones out there.
The reason you don't really have a St.Patrick's Day, is it's a nationality/religion based holiday. Notice how even things like Christmas don't directly exist, it's "Winter's Veil", etc. Plus Brewfest is pretty much St.Patrick's Day.

I saw someone a few days ago offering 3 to 1 odds against a /roll of 80 or more outside the bank in Orgrimmar and people were actually taking the bet, there's one born every minute...
